The appointment of an executor
We will assist you in appointing an executor to oversee your loved one's estate. This executor can be a family member and we can assist as agent for the executor.
Reporting to the master of the high court
We will all complete all reporting documents, attend the masters office and apply for letter of executorship.
Notice to creditors
We will attend to the publication of the required newspaper notices calling on creditors to submit claims within 30 days.
Preparation of the liquidation & distribution account
We will prepare the Liquidation and distribution account reflecting assets, administration costs, liabilities, and the distribution of the estate to comply with the requirements of the Administration of Estates Act.
Compliance with SARS regulations
Taxation of deceased estates new legislation dated 01 March 2016 will be complied with.
Request for Masters endorsements
We will ensure that the masters endorsement to transfer immovable property is obtained.
Estate Duty
Where estates are dutiable (estates above R3,500,000) we attend to the necessary calculations.
Disputed claims
Should you believe claims are not valid we will investigate and follow required legal procedures to contest the claim against the estate.
